Brooke's First Competition Entry

So we posted pictures back in July of Brooke painting her reproduction Sea Turtle.  She entered the turtle in the youth division of the MTA competition.  She received a 1st place blue ribbon within that category.  She then entered it in the North Carolina Taxidermy Competition.  She won a few different awards at that competition.  She won 1st place blue ribbon and Most Promising Youth Award as well as Starfish Award.  We are so proud of our little girl. 

My Deer

My hubby got my 10 pt mounted from last season......he did such a awesome job. This mount is 100% competition quality.  He took it to the MTA show and won special award with it.  We then went to North Carolina for a competition where he took special awards with it as well.

Brooke's First Entry into the Youth Catagory at Taxidermy Competition

Last year Brooke entered a reproduction fish into the Wildlife Art category at the Maryland Taxidermist Association Competition.  This year she stepped it up and entered into the Youth division.  She painted a reproduction Sea Turtle.  She did a awesome job.  She ended up getting 1st place in this category.  We are so proud of her!
