The day

Today we took in some nice Elk from a hunt in Idaho with 6 hunters w/100% success.  These will be done as euro mounts and shoulder mounts

It's that time of year again.  Brian spent the day cooking skulls off for euro mounts that we have gotten in so far.

2012 Maryland Opening of Bear Season

Yesterday was the opening day of the 2012 Bear Season in Maryland.  One of our customers, Ricky Wetzel brought this bear today that came from Garrett County.  This will be done as a rug.  Shown below are some pictures of the skinning process once he got the bear to us.

Cool Mount

Here is a cool mount of two Javelina's that we finished last week.

Best One Yet

Went out Saturday evening for the last evening of the 3 day early muzzleloader, had a few close close encounters the previous two days, but just couldn't make them happen.

We decided to sit together this evening for the hunt

Had a few doe's bust us out earlier in the evening.  We thought the evening was just about over until this 8pt came in about 6:30.  Did not have a good shot but was going to try.  Gun would not go off....not good.  Deer decided to run just a little ways.  With the deer about 50 yds away it was the last opportunity as dark was drawing near.  Dropped him right in his tracks.  This is my best one yet.

Food is Cooking!!!!!!!

We are in the kitchen starting the food. To name a few of the items we have Bugling Elk Chili, Gator-que, Goose Pastrami, Sloppy Gator, Smoked Bear, Venison, Wild Turkey, Bluefish & Spanish Mac.........
