Mushrooms

Lots of wild mushrooms growing out in the woods as well as in yards.  Found these milk brooks last evening.  They will be hitting the frying pan tonight.

So my little girl went with me this morning to pull the card in my camera, only to find out that the batteries were dead.  So I didn't have any pics but Brooke did bring a bag with her to hunt some mushrooms and that we did....

Live Lining Trip with Brian & Leslie the Weekend of July 23rd

As the pictures show we had a great time out on the water.  Brian, Leslie, Jennifer, Brooke and myself all rode together.  We were able to get out a little early Friday so we headed on out on my dad's boat to go bottom fishing.  On our way back in the prop spun on my dad's boat. So we had to come in suppppeeerrrr slow due to this fact.  At this point we figured our weekend was shot; however, my dad had purchased a spare prop because this is not the first time this has happenend.  We got that put on Saturday morning with our neighbors help and still was able to go fishing.  Since we did not catch all our bait Friday evening we headed out in the river to catch more spot.  Then we headed up to the Gas Docks.  We had a amazing time!!!!!  The fishing was great and we were able to catch our limit.

Here is the mount with skin in place and tusks in.  We will update with more pictures after the Warthog is done drying and the finish process starts.
