A very good friend, Chip Johnson with Jefferson Archery connected last night on a beautiful 9pt Montgomery County buck. Chip and his wife, Karen have become very good friends of ours and we are very happy to see Chip get a very nice deer. It has been a long time coming and very well deserved. We will be doing a shoulder mount on this deer in the very near future. We will post pictures of the mounting process. Congratulations Chip!!!!!!!

First Deer for the 2012 Season
We got in our first deer for the 2012 season.
Bruce Jacobs shot this 8pt this morning.
This will be a nice looking mount especially since it is still in velvet. We have already injected the horns to preserve the velvet.

Here is another project we are working on with Paul Rhymer for a museum in New Mexico. Paul and Tim mounted this cougar yesterday in the shop while Brian was getting a turkey ready for mounting (wheeling, cleaning).

Fishing on the Bay Labor Day Weekend
So we spent the weekend fishing. It was a good weekend with a lot of small Rockfish, lots of Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. The little ones spent some time over at the beach as well. Brooke did very well in the water and was more comfortable then ever.
Silverback Gorilla
Here are some photos of a joint effort with Paul Rhymer on a Silverback Gorilla for a museum in Oklahoma. We have made molds of different parts. Shown below are some molds of the ears that we have made. We also have the skin prepped for the tannery. We will be posting more pics as we move forward.
